Adam Shaver
Adam Shaver is a Johnsburg resident and McHenry Township Trustee who believes that informed voters are the foundation of strong local government. Known for his practical mindset and community-focused energy, Adam is passionate about making civic information easier to understand and more accessible—so everyday citizens feel confident participating in local elections and public discourse.
Adam brings creativity and clarity to civic engagement, including founding the Remote Control Racing Club of McHenry Township, an initiative designed to bring neighbors together and strengthen community connections. Professionally, his background in sales, data analysis, and strategic problem-solving shapes his commitment to clear, fact-based communication. As part of the GOP Voter Information Project, Adam supports the organization’s goal of providing voters with straightforward, unbiased information about candidates, issues, and the electoral process—helping ensure that participation in local democracy is informed, welcoming, and grounded in facts rather than noise.
Erik Sivertsen
Erik Sivertsen is a longtime McHenry County resident with a deep commitment to civic engagement, local government, and informed voter participation. He believes that a healthy democracy depends on voters having access to clear, accurate information about candidates, issues, and the electoral process—especially at the local level, where decisions most directly affect families and communities.
Erik has been actively involved in McHenry County civic life for years, including leadership roles as former chairman of the McHenry County Young Republicans and the McHenry Township GOP, as well as service on the District 15 School Board. He has helped organize and participate in public candidate forums and issue-based discussions, including countywide debates and community events. As part of the GOP Voter Information Project, Erik supports the organization’s goal of educating voters without spin, encouraging thoughtful participation, and strengthening trust in local institutions through transparency and factual information.
