From our standpoint as a Republican voter-education organization, this is a long-anticipated turning point. Dick Durbin stepping aside ends decades of political inertia and finally creates a competitive path forward for Illinois conservatives. An open Senate seat raises the standard for Republican voters and demands serious engagement, not name recognition or wishful thinking. Our role is clear: provide clear, factual, and accessible information so voters can identify the strongest conservative candidates, make disciplined choices in the primary, and position Illinois Republicans to win when it counts.
